Regulation and licensing
- The Michigan Gaming Control Board: Founded in 1996, the MGCB regulates all online casino and sports betting operators, retail casinos, and the pari-mutuel horse racing industry. It also audits tribal gaming compact compliance. It provides monthly and annual revenue reports for the industry as well as responsible gambling resources.
- Licensing Requirements: All online casinos and sportsbooks must partner with either one of the state’s three retail casinos or one of the 23 tribal casinos.
